Vielca is an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist and received her Certified Sex Therapist (CST) training through Sexual Health Alliance. Sexual struggles are more common than you think. Some of my areas of expertise are sexual pain, open/poly lifestyles, recovering from an affair, revitalizing sexual relationships, low libido, orgasm difficulties, sexual satisfaction and “porn/sex addiction”. Vielca also welcomes the LGBTQ+ and kink communities. Sexual vitality and pleasure are essential parts of being alive. Let’s add more play, intimacy and excitement to your life!
Vielca offers therapy in Spanish and English. She began her sexuality studies in 2001. She is a licensed counselor in both Costa Rica and the US. Her interest in mindfulness led her to become a yoga instructor, avid meditation and a Tantra practitioner. Her focus is holistic and relational.

Therapy Style and Approach:
My approach to counseling is holistic. I see people in their totality and I take an integrative approach to healing the mind. In my work, the entire human being and their life experiences are taken in to consideration for assessment and treatment purposes. My work takes them into the multiple dimensions of human experience; the physical, the spiritual and the psychological.
My style is warm, compassionate and direct. I do encourage my clients to do activities in between sessions thought fun and engaging homework. This way change happens sooner and my clients develop a sense of independence and empowerment.
Some Issues Vielca is Passionate about:
- Lack of desire
- Recovering from an affair
- Difficulty getting or keeping an erection (“erectile dysfunction”)
- “Porn addiction ”
- Premature ejaculation or other ejaculation problems
- Difficulty having an orgasm
- Pain during sex or inability to have penetrative sex
- Poly/kink and open relationships
- Sexual desire discrepancies in couples
