• Flexible Requirements

Respark will work with you to fulfill your school's requirements. We also allow you a more flexible schedule to work around your schooling and any other commitments.

• 12 Client Caseload per Week

Our interns are expected to build up to a 12 client caseload per week. Our marketing team & care team will help bring in and secure clients for you.

• Join a Well-Oiled Machine

We are a strong and cohesive group practice with detailed procedures, policies, and systems already in place. Our team is here to support you and answer any questions you may have.

• Start Your Path to AASECT Certification

When you intern at Respark you will also be enrolled in our sister company, the Sexual Health Alliance. SHA’s Sex Therapy Certification Program is the premier sex therapy certification program with over 150 CEs. • Work with The Best

At Respark, we have over 20 clinicians with over 70 years of combined experience. 7 of whom are AASECT Certified Sex Therapists. This is more than any other practice. All of our clinicians and interns are enrolled in SHA’s Sex Therapy Certification Program to put them on the path to becoming an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist.

• Respark remains committed to providing inters with a supportive learning environment, exposure to diverse therapeutic techniques, and the chance to collaborate with experienced professionals in the field. Our aim is to ensure that all interns leave with enhanced skills and a deeper understanding of the therapy practice.

 

• Higher Hourly Rate

Respark interns are proud to be billed at one of the highest hourly rates in Colorado and Texas - at $85/hr.

• Please note that at this time, Respark Therapy & Associates internships are an unpaid position. While we understand the importance of compensation, we believe that this experience offers a unique opportunity for individuals to gain hands-on experience in a professional therapy setting.

 

• Diverse Clientele

At Respark Therapy & Associates we serve adult and couples clients seeking psychotherapy around relationships and sexuality issues. We treat clients with issues such as sexual dysfunctions, sexual orientation and gender identity issues, increasing intimacy, passion and romance in relationships, desire discrepancy, trauma (past or present), couples who want to explore inhibitions, increasing communication in and outside the bedroom, kink communities, polyamorous or open style relationships, and many other mental health issues like depression and anxiety.

• If your school requires  a certain number of hours in a specific area (such as couples), we will work with you to make sure these hour requirements are met.

 

• Opportunity to Join as a Fully Licensed Clinician

As you approach your graduation date there is the opportunity to join our team as a fully licensed clinician. Not all interns will have this offer extended to them.
