Hello and welcome, I'm Lucy Smith! I was born and raised in the South, where the prevailing belief in the 'Bible Belt' was that discussions about sex should be reserved exclusively for one's spouse.

This mindset never resonated with me and upon coming to Denver, Colorado I realized just how antiquated and harmful this perspective can be. During my undergraduate studies at the University of Denver, I found a space that finally felt comfortable, safe, and empowering within the Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies Department, where I delved into the social construction of gender and sexuality.

As a current MSW candidate I strive to continue learning and encourage others to learn as well.I aim to support and sometimes challenge my clients in creating brave spaces—environments that foster dialogue, curiosity, growth, and prioritize agency. Empowered Exploration is the core of my philosophy, and by centering this in sessions, I hope to help cultivate stronger support systems and self-love.
