Hannah Wood-Kraft, LMFT-A
Hi, I’m Hannah Wood-Kraft!
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, and I’m here to make therapy a space where you feel comfortable exploring even the most challenging topics. Whether it’s about sex, intimacy, fear, or self-discovery, I bring a compassionate and supportive approach to help you navigate it all.
I believe everyone deserves truth, contentment, and pleasure in their life, and therapy can be a powerful way to get there. As someone who’s experienced the benefits of therapy firsthand, I understand it can feel overwhelming to start. But taking the step to learn more about yourself or your relationships can create so much positive change. Together, we’ll make the journey toward growth feel intentional and manageable—maybe even a little fun.
I work with individuals and couples, embracing clients from all walks of life and relationship styles. I proudly welcome LGBTQIA+, kink, and non-monogamous clients. If you’re ready to show up for yourself, I’ll be right there with you to help you along the way.
Rates Start at $150.00/hr

Therapy Style and Approach:
I like to use an integrative approach in my work in order to meet each client exactly where they're at. For me, the three most important things when it comes to my personal style of therapy are collaboration, empathy, and joy. By emphasizing these three crucial principles can guide clients to whatever goal they might seek, whether using a humanistic, cognitive, systemic, or psychoanalytic lens.
Some Issues Hannah is Passionate about:
I am passionate about pleasure. Before beginning my journey as a therapist, I was lucky enough to work at a female-owned sex shop in Austin, Texas. Though I had previously nerded out over sex education textbooks and required sex positivity reading (please read Come As You Are by Emily Nagoski), it wasn't until I was faced with the task of asking people what their pleasure was every day that I realized how many people don't know what gives them pleasure or even that as human beings we all have a right to pleasure. The more I thought about this, the more I realized how a lack of pleasure resonated in so many people's lives and in many places outside of the bedroom (or wherever you like it). So now I have dedicated my life to helping people find their pleasure. This starts with ensuring everybody has access to basic needs and rights first, then helping people to understand their most authentic selves. And finally, finding their pleasure and allowing themselves to delight in it, whether that's having an orgasm, watching a movie with a partner, or biting into a delicious apple!
So, if it's with me or not, please go out and find your pleasure!

Personal Interests, Hobbies and Some Fun Facts:
I grew up in Los Angeles and have always had a deep love for the art of film, which sounds pretentious, but I also have a deep love for the art of reality television. So, when I'm not working, you can catch me in front of a screen or taking a dip in the kiddie pool I put in my backyard when the weather is unbearably hot (just how I like it). And if you can't find me there then hopefully I am traveling somewhere I can see animals! But no animal I have seen on my travels can compare to the wild creatures I have at home! A redheaded husband, an anxious dog, and two (yes, count 'em, TWO) hairless cats!
